The Roots of
My Work
Hi- I’m Kara!
I am an Ohio native, currently enjoying the beautiful natural landscape of the Sierra Nevada with my husband and dog. I feel a profound connection with Mother Earth, and I am humbly grounded in a practice of serving the greater good of all beings. I love the outdoors, and feel a deep gratitude that I am able to enjoy all the activities that bring me peace out in nature.
After many years of using alcohol and substances to cope, I eventually came to realize that I was actually trying to mask the underlying pain from earlier traumas. It was not until I began to explore a beautiful path of working with psychedelic medicines that I received a clear call to change, and started on my deep healing journey towards health, wellness and wholeness.
Working with these medicines with intention enhanced my connection with Spirit and my Higher Self, and was the catalyst for healing those deep wounds and finding balance in my life.
